My Craft Room

Not another set of pictures of my craft room but of my new Blog and Etsy Store!

This is something that I have been wanting to do for a while.  Everyone who knows me knows I love to sew and make crafts.  I hope to do some Spring craft fairs once I get my "product" list together and more items made.

I have some super cute Clipboards that you can use on your next Disney trip to collect Character Autographs or just to write notes on.  They even come with 4x4 cardstock squares to get you started.  I hope to make some other themes as well very soon.

Necklace Silly Band holders

I will be adding some appliqued shirts and pillowcase dresses soon.  I also will make custom appliqued shirts, pillowcase dresses and A-line dresses.    Any item that I have posted on this blog I will be able to make for you, just ask.

So, I hope you will view and bookmark http://mycraftroom2.blogspot.com/.

Disney on Ice

Friday night I took the girls to see Disney On Ice, Lets Celebrate.  They were so excited to be going.

Disney T-Shirts

I have made 2 different Mickey Head Shirts over the past few weeks.  The first set of shirts is for the girls. It is a Mickey Head Balloon applique.

While I was making these shirts Abby asked if they were for them to wear to Disney on Ice.  I told her Yes! these are for you to wear to Disney on Ice.  Not my orginal thought but if she wants to wear this shirt Friday night, I think that is great.  We are going with Ammie so I made her one as well.

The second set of shirts are for my friend Jennifer's two kids.  They are going to Disney over Fall Break so I thought I could make her kids some super cute birthday gifts.

The red one is for Kyle and the black one is for Kaitlyn

Fantasy Football

The Highland Homebulider Girls Fantasy Football League has held our drafted and the season started Thursday night. Our draft was a few weeks ago (I am behind in my blogging) and I forgot my camera so I had to "borrow" these pictures from my friend Rachel's blog.

Our cool draft kit and our trophy, currently held by Rachel. She won our league last year and my luck of the draw was this year's first to pick in the draft. Our league has been around for 2 years and each year the person who picks last has won the league. There is lots of pressure on Laurel to win this year since she had the last pick at the draft.

Here is Paula's Players orginal team:
QB Joe Flacco
RB Steven Jackson
RB Michael Turner
RB/WR Matt Forte
WR Brandon Marshall
WR DeSean Jackson
TE Tony Gonzalez
D/ST Cowboys D/ST
K Ryan Longwell
Bench

Michael Crabtree
T.J. Houshmandzadeh
Matt Leinart
Justin Forsett
Steve Breaston
Heath Miller

I have since dropped Leinart and picked up Kyle Orton as my backup QB

Here is our League:

Being Brett Favre (Rachel Baker)

Steeler Nation (Natasha Rhyan)

Hoo Dat Hoover (Sara Hoover)

Only Barber Girl (Jamie Barber)

Almighty Ainsley (Ainsley Spellings)

Paula's Players (Me)

South Dakota Survivors (Tiffany Parkhurst)

An Uprising of Urlachers (Kori Tyler)

All the Way Mea (Laurel Gearson)

End Zone Zyriek (Lisa Zyriek)

Delta Fair

Monday we went to the Delta Fair at the Argicenter. The girls have been wanting to go and I was able to get a 50% off the Family Deal Package so we jumped at the deal and off we went. The first thing the girls found was the first petting zoo. Here is Abby with some ducks, she loves ducks and ladybugs.

Someone must have felt bad for Allie when I told her she could not have a dollar cup of animal feed till the end of the day and gave her one of their cups of animal feed. Some of the cows, rabbits, goats and other animals were not really that hungry because they would not eat the feed very well.

After the petting farm we found the first section of Kiddie rides. The girls rode the pumpkin Farris wheel, mini scrambler, the dragon coaster, super slide and went through the fun houses. There was a second section of kiddie rides we found later in the day. We watched a Knight Jousting match and found another petting zoo area.

Abby is in the 5th car with her head down. She enjoyed most every ride she rode. Allie liked all the fun houses and might have rode more rides had Raymond or I rode with her but we did not buy a ride stamp for us.

Downtown Farmers Market & Mud Island

Labor Day weekend we went to the Memphis Farmers Market downtown behind the train station. We had a good time and bought some yummy tomatoes. I look forward to going back earlier in the summer, I bet they have great strawberries. I bought Abby a container of cherry tomatoes and she had more of them eaten before we got home.

Abby has been asking to go to the "fake Mississippi" for a while and since we were not ready to go back home we drove down to Mud Island after leaving the Farmers Market. We enjoyed a nice walk across to Mud Island and a walk down the "fake Mississippi".
