Easter Weekend

On Good Friday we visited the Botanic Gardens with our friends the Spellings.   I took a ton of pictures while we were there.  It is such a beautiful place to take pictures. 





The following morning we went to the Annual Egg Hunt at Church.

After the egg hunt we went back home and dyed our eggs.  The girls enjoy this so much.  Each year I tell myself that next year I will buy them each a dozen eggs to do and then I don't.  None of us like boiled eggs and I have no use for them so it is hard to buy them knowing I will be tossing them later. 

Terrific Kid ~ Allie

Allie has been working hard on becoming a Terrific Kid for her class.  She was chosen from her class for the last 9 weeks.  She came running out of school on Monday afternoon so excited to tell me she was the Terrific Kid for her class.  The program was help Friday afternoon.  She was so excited!




Our friend Reid was picked for his class (Mrs. Tamboli, Abby's class).



Allie worked very hard for this and we are so proud of her!!

A little boy in my class at Day School went to France and brought me back some soap from the South of France.  It is so pretty and smells so good, I almost don't want to use it.

Easter Lunch and Egg Hunt

We went to sunrise service at Highland on Easter morning.  We have the service on the front lawn of our church.  It was a little chilly this year but it was a nice service.  After service we had breakfast at church and then went to Sunday School.  After Sunday School we went to Ainsley's moms for an egg hunt and lunch.  We also played "picture shoot" as well.



Abby guarding an egg that has ducks on it.  We moved the egg at one point before they starting hunting and when they went looking for eggs she went straight here and it was gone.  She almost took out Cal while running to the flower.  We did put it back and she got to keep the yellow egg with ducks on it.

Easter Morning

Saturday night I rolled the girls hair with sponge rollers.  It turned out so cute.  Here they are before going to bed.
