Fall Photo Shoot

One Wednesday night before church Miss Michelle took the girls picture out in front of our church building.  The pictures turned out really good and the girls actually behaved while Michelle took their pictures.  Here are some of my favorite one.

Trunk or Treat at Highland

Sunday night was Highland's annual Trunk or Treat.  Ainsley, Jamie and I did a Candyland Theme for this year.

Candy Swap and Parent Tax as Raymond calls it, at home afterwards.

Pumpkin Carving

Another fall tradition is carving Jackers.  This year we carved him inside and the girls did most of the cleaning out of the pumpkin guts.

September 2012

September started with Football.....Oh the joys of Tiger Football.  The first 3 home games of the season had some amount of rain during the game.  The first game started out great but by halftime the wind was blowing, the rain was pouring, lightening filled the sky, the tornado sirens were going off and I had two very upset little girls.  We left about an hour into weather delay since the weather had let up.  Second game had a little bit of drizzle before the game and the third home we did not even go to due to it raining all day and into the game.  This game happen to be the only game we have won so far....

The second home game was the annual Pouncer Pals Walk-A-Round Game.  I have a great picture of the girls with Pouncer on my phone.  Here are a few others from the walk-a-round.

We also took a trip to Jonesboro in September to see Meemaw's new house.  Raymond, Chris and Debbie all went to the football game while Meemaw. the girls including Hannah and I went to the Mall and got the girls ears pierced.  Again I have pictures but they are on my phone and not the computer.  The girls were thrilled that I surprised them with this treat.  After the mall we had dinner at Chic-fil-A and headed back to Meemaws.

The last Friday night of September was our annual trip to the Forum for Disney on Ice.  A good time was had by all at dinner and the show.  We were joined by the Barber's and the Spellings which made the evening even better!

My favorite part was Rapunzal and Flynn.

August 2012

I know it has been a long time since I posted.  Between the girls school, my school and embroidery work we have been busy at our house.  The last time I was on to post pictures of our vacation blogger was not being helpful with my picture uploads, so I just stopped and linked the photo book I made for the girls.  I also post a lot more pictures on Facebook than here.  But since I can not sleep tonight I will try to update some of the past few months.

August had us going back to school!  The girls entered 2nd grade and as you can see from their pictures below, someone was not to happy about going back to school.  I also had a new group of two years at the Day School.

August also had the return of some friends who had moved way up north to Alaska a few years ago.  The Arnett's moved back to Arkansas and were in Memphis for a weekend.  Louise and the kids were able to meet up with all of us for a fun filled Saturday night.  The kids played together like they had never been apart!

This was taken after they all had played in the mud.

Such sweet friends

And finally what August would be complete with out our annual Fantasy Football Draft Night.  This year we went high tech with a live draft at the Barber's.  We still had out paper board as well.
