Bourne Identity

We watched The Bourne Identity tonight. Yes I know it has been out forever, but we recently signed up for netflix's (which we love) and the Bourne movies are some Raymond wanted to see. I decided to watch it with Raymond tonight thinking the entire time I was not going to like and I would get up and go do something else. Well, I enjoyed it and Raymond fell asleep during some of the movie. He has a habit of falling asleep during movies at home. He fell asleep during Ocean's 12 as well. Anyway, he wakes up toward the end when Bourne is finding out who he is and why he did not complete his mission and asks me where the girl is. Of course he is now denying ever falling asleep. Raymond did like the movie and we will be waiting for the others to arrive shortly.

Hair Bows

I love putting bows in the girls hair. Allie will actually keep them in. I was spend way too much money on bows so I had a friend teach me how to make them. I am still learning how to make them, but I have covered some alligator clips with ribbon and bows. Here are a few pictures of what I have done this week. When I some of the larger bows finished I will post them as well.

How to have a Birthday Party

The girls have been playing birthday party for a while now. The birthday party season starts in November and seems to taper off in late Feb. We have had birthday parties for the last 3 weekends and we have enjoyed them all. So Tuesday morning while we were getting ready for MDO Abby was "making" a cake with her Leap Frog ABC's. She told me that she was making a cake for her birthday party and that she was going to ice it. Then she told me she was going to get balloons, make goody bags, make birthday hats and get a present.

Abby & Allie are talking so much now. It is so funny to hear then talking to each other and to other people. I can hardly keep the quite any more.

Grizz Game

Raymond calls at 5:15pm and tells me he has 2 tickets to tonights Grizzles game and the parking pass. Anyone who knows my husband knows 2 of his motto's in life are never leave a game early and never pay to park. Anyway, so I took dinner out of the oven, packed up the girls and headed to Meemaws so we could go see the Grizz play the Suns. I wish I took my camera. Steve Nash and Shaq play for the Suns. Shaq is so tall and his shoes are as big as our kids. My new favorite NBA player is Rudy Gay. He was great tonight but the Grizz lost. The game was more fun than I remember but I still like college basketball better.

On a happier note, UT lost tonight to Vandy. UT beat Memphis Saturday night in a close game at the Forum. So now Tiger fans can smile again. Memphis plays Tulas tomorrow night. We should win this one.

Never Leave a child alone with Scissors

From Wednesday February 6, 2008

No it is not her hair that was cut!!

I put Abby to sleep in my room so she will not wake Allie in there room. I heard her messing around in there and I just ignored it. She comes out and asks me if she can get up, I say Ok. I go into the room and find my sewing scissors, straight pins and the red santa bag I made last year on the floor. The feather trim from the santa bag is everywhere.

Here is how our conversationwent

Me: Abby what did you do?
Abby: I cut it with scissors.
Ask a silly question, get a silly answer!

Funny stories from my girls

Sunday, January 27, 2008 -- Allie wants to go to the Zoo
On our way home from church Allie asked to go to the Zoo. We told her it was too cold and the animals would not be out for us to see them. Allie thought for a moment and said, “They get a jacket”.

Abby's conversation with her daddy
Abby: I go get new Bob DVD. (Abby broke her new Bob DVD she got for Christmas-she loves this DVD-Wizard of Ha’s)
Daddy: What happen to new Bob?
Abby: I broke it
Daddy: How are you going to get a new Bob?
Abby: Mommy get it. From the Bob store. (Family Christian Bookstore)
Daddy: How is mommy going to get?
Abby: Mommy get money and go buy it.
Daddy: Where is mommy going to get the money to buy it?
Abby: From Daddy.

She is learning early where her money is going to come from :)

Abby’s Special Errand Balloon
One day while Allie was in speech Abby and I went to MATCU for some information. While there they had red balloons flying and she wanted one. We asked the lady and we took it home with us. Abby called it her special errand balloon. After about 2 weeks it start to lose its floating ability. I told Abby it was time that the balloon to go a way. Abby looked at me and said, Mommy make it flat and put in my memory box. I had put her birthday balloon in her memory box and she must think that is where balloons go when they made flat.

Ok, I have finally entered the world of blogging! I think just about all my friends have one. So I guess I should join them. My family that I don't get to talk to that much can read my blog and find out what is going on with our family.

I have some funny little stories I will post Monday about the girls. I am now going to go learn how to set everything up on blogger. Wish me luck!!
