Trunk or Treat

Sunday night was Trunk or Treat at Highland. I even joined the fun and dresses up as a witch this year. I made my cape and bought my hat at Target. Abby is Sleeping Beauty again this year (she can still wear her costume from last year!) and Allie is Alice in Wonderland.

We asked my friend Suzie and her girls Abbey and Zoe to come as well.

20 Days and Counting

Here are the 2 countdown calendars I made for the girls for our trip.

Each night we will place a Mickey Head on each square

Mickey Chain
Instead of buying an autograph book I had cut 8 1/2x 11 paper into 4's. I was going to use a binder clip to hold the cards all together (thanks Amy for the idea) but yesterday at Arhciver's I saw these scalloped edge mini clip boards on clearance and thought they would make cute little holders for the autograph cards. I used black glittery ABC's on the front. I covered them with Modge Podge to keep them from coming off. The back I cute out paper and Modge Podged it to the back side and added a few stickers.

Carousel

The Disney Store had a Halloween "dress rehearsal" on Wednesday after. It was not as much fun as I thought it would be. On our way out we rode the Carousel, which is always fun.

Craft Blogs

I have discovered 2 new craft blogs. I have enjoyed seeing their fall crafts and I am looking forward to seeing what they post for Chirstmas. They both post links to other craft blogs/projects and sometimes they even have the same project on each of their sites that they have gotten from another blogger.

And this post from Sutton Grace just blows me away.

Each of these blogs have other blogs listed that I am slowing checking out and I am sure I will find more that I like.

I took this picture of the girls the other day after they got out of the bathtub and they where all wrapped up in their bath towels. It reminded me of a picture I took of the girls when they were infants.

Mickey Mouse Crafts

Our cousin Carol mailed the girls these cute necklaces for our Disney trip.

They enjoyed the enclosure card as much as the necklace.
I made the girls these Minnie Mouse dresses. I am going to have the letter "A" embroidered in the center of the Minnie Mouse Head and then I will place a bow on the head.

Hair Cuts

Last week the girls and I went to Savannah for a few days and to get our hair cut. Here is Allie getting her first real hair cut.

All done!

Pumpkin Crafts

I have discovered white pumpkins. I found a blog call U create, and thought I can make that. Well, not as easy as I thought. There was another post on this blog using ribbon on pumpkins so here is my twist using ribbon on pumpkins.

Cedar Hill Farm

Saturday we went to Cedar Hill Farm with the Mothers of Multiples Club. It is in Hernando, MS and very much worth the drive. They have a play area for the kids, a hay fort, hay maze, petting zoo, chicken show (that the girls LOVE), pony rides, picnic areas, train ride, hayride to the to pumpkin patch, corn maze and a pirate ship. We always have so much when we go and the girls always fall asleep on the way home.

The first thing we did once we arrived was go straight to the pony rides. I think this is one of the girls favorite parts of the farm, along with the train ride, hay ride, petting zoo, picking pumpkins, well all of it actually.

Abby - "I think my pumpkin is over there" It took Abby a while to find the right pumpkin.
She finally found one that was under a bunch of vines and that still had half the vine on it.

Allie kept the second or third one she touched

Our pumpkins and gourds. I bought a white one as well that I hope to make something with so I will save that picture for later.

Happy Birthday to Me

Today is my birthday and to celebrate I took the girls to the Zoo's newest exhibit, The Teton Trek. Raymond took me dinner, gave me Nicholas Sparks newest book, The Last Song. After dinner we went to Target without the girls. When I woke this morning Abby brought me a picture she had made for me. It is of the two of us playing in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

Yellowstone Geyser - I can see kids wanting to play in this come summer.
