The girls were out of school a week before I got out so they got to come to Day School with me and hang out with Mr. Connor for the week. On Tuesday Connor brings Abby to me crying and she tells me she has something stuck between her teeth. Well she did not have anything stuck in her teeth, part of her two front, permanent teeth where gone. She was playing tag on the play ground and ran into the bars used as steps to the monkey bars. She even left a mark on the bar, see picture below. I was remarkably calm and we went to Miss Michelle's office to figure out what to do next. She called Dr. Jeff for us and he referred us to a peds dentist who we were able to get into that afternoon. After a little while Abby went back to her class and finished the day with her class. Her teeth did not hurt her, I think she was just scared. To be honest so was I!
The dentist was great with Abby. We scheduled to fix her teeth in June using sedation since she was so scared and frighten. We went on June 14th to get the teeth repaired and Abby did great! She spent most of the afternoon laying around once we got but only after eating lunch at chick-fil-a. She can not have hard food or candy and will have to have her apples cut up from now on. Hopefully she will not chip these. She has been very self conscience about all this and has not wanted to show many people her teeth and even was embarrassed that I put the first picture on Facebook. She now has what Dr. Jeff calls Movie Star Teeth. Hopefully they will stay that way!!

May 11th was Field Day at school. I went back and forth between Abby and Allie's classes during the events. Last year it rained so the events where held inside but this year it was sunny and we had all the events outside. Here are a few pictures of the girls doing a few of their races.
Me and My Girls
May Update
I am so far behind in my blogging some of the following updates may be a little long and combined. School ended in May for me and the girls and now we are busy with summer. I am working three days a week and the girls are going to Day Camp where I work. As for May 2012 it was extremely busy for all of us. We started the month with Allie's Terrific Kid Program at school. She worked hard all year long to be chosen as Terrific Kid for her class. You can see how happy she is in the pictures below. Our friend Reid was picked for Terrific Kid for his class for this time as well. We are so proud of Allie and all that she has done this school year!

Next we help host a Honey-Do Shower for a couple in our Reach Group. It has been a while since hosted a wedding shower for someone in our Sunday School Class. We are all married (now) and we have been giving baby showers for quite a while now. It was fun to do a wedding shower again. We had a family BBQ lunch in the Great Hall at church and gave the Bride and Groom lots of gift cards to Lowe's for all those home improvement projects they will want to do.

Next we had the girls Baton Recital. This was Allie's 3rd recital and Abby's first one. Abby has decided she wants to go back to tennis in the fall. Allie will be staying with Baton. Maybe she can be the U of M's Golden Girl one day....
